How I got reacquainted with Chris is a testament to the value of that site. My partner Fil - who I met there - was sending me references to men with BigMuscle profiles who fit the image of his ideal male sex fantasy. Chris was one of the guys Fil gave me a heads up on. I wrote Chris a note and told him that he had been brought to my attention and I would be interested in photographing him sometime. |

Chris wrote back reminding me that he had been a friend of mine at Fire Island in the 1970's. He was now about 30 pounds and 30 years more than when I'd last seen him. You could have knocked me over with a feather. I hadn't recognized him in his transformation. Chris had been a pretty boy in his early twenties then - now he was this powerfully muscled handsome man. The first thing I did was cry when I realized who he was. When you are our age and have not heard of someone for so many years - you never know if they survived AIDS or had been lost in the conflagration. Chris had moved back to Florida just as the crisis hit New York and I'd lost touch with him. |

Chris had gotten involved in bodybuilding - obviously - to magnificent effect. As luck would have it - he was going to be judging a horse show in San Diego in August and was able to make a side trip to Palm Springs for a weekend. That gave me the opportunity to make these pictures - the first ever - of Chris totally wonderfully naked. |

I'd been amused that Fil had referred me to a number of men I’d known and shot over the years. But this referral was different. He put me back in contact with a guy who I had really liked a lot - and who I thought was so hot then - and who I see has matured finely. We had a terrific reunion that gave me the opportunity to make this portfolio of my now mature muscled buddy. |

Given that we, my boyfriend and I, are also interested in competing in physique at some future time, Chris is an inspiration to us. You will see Chris in many of my projects in the near future - On The Couch - Men In Blue Water - 40 + to name a few. He is a prime example of a man in his prime - a man who has survived and become rather fabulous - according to the many men who have asked me when I am going to feature him. Well - the answer to them is - NOW.
